Adèle Viret

Adèle Viret is a versatile cellist and composer. In her eclectic projects, she effortlessly moves between improvisation, jazz, and world music, often merging music with disciplines such as dance, literature, and theatre. Her debut project with her Adèle Viret Quartet, Close to the Water, earned multiple accolades, including Jazz Migration (2023), Euroradio Jazz Competition (2024) and Victoires du Jazz (2025). She has collaborated with renowned artists such as Magic Malik, Fabrizio Cassol, B.C. Manjunath, and Amir Elsaffar and has performed on jazz stages across France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, and Portugal.
