Kindred Spirits
What happens when musical soulmates meet? Festival artist Abel Selaocoe invites three kindred spirits to shape a new world together. Like him, they are musicians and creators who move freely beyond the boundaries of their instruments. Bernhard Schimpelsberger makes percussion sing. Soprano Héloïse Werner single-handedly reimagines what the human voice can do. And pianist-composer Fabian Fiorini weaves tradition and improvisation into something uniquely his own. Their playing field is wide open: each offers material to the others, like an open question that can only be answered together. Join them for an exhilarating moment of shared creation full of attention, curiosity, and the sheer joy of making music.
