Mythes, tel est le titre du fascinant triptyque pour violon et piano de Karol Szymanowski qui donne vie à trois créatures mythologiques, Narcisse, Pan et la nymphe Aréthuse. Le duo qui se produit lors ce concert tient aussi du mythe : la violoniste Patricia Kopatchinskaja et le pianiste Fazil Say s’entendent à électriser la salle ! Ils sont d’ailleurs faits du même bois musical : Kopatchinskaja a pour mots d’ordre spontanéité et aventure, et Say improvisait déjà avec son premier professeur à Ankara.

Aujourd’hui des superstars, les deux musiciens restent néanmoins très proches de leur inspiration initiale : la magie du processus créatif. Outre la pièce de Szymanowski et l’emblématique Kreutzersonate de Beethoven, Kopatchinskaja et Say présenteront également chacun une nouvelle composition de leur cru.
