MUSIKAA
KlaraFestival looks beyond the red plush of Brussels' magnificent concert halls. With the MUSIKAA project, it generates new encounters, extra muros, but rooted in the city.
MUSIKAA is an invitation, one big feast of music with the encounter as its central theme. Encounters with people who don’t live in Molenbeek but would like to get to know the district better, and among the people who live in Molenbeek themselves. With ever-changing projects and presentation formats. Sometimes classical, sometimes not. In the concert halls, but also in the open air, in the middle of the vibrant Molenbeek community.
Culture in Molenbeek, Foyer, La Vallée, De Vaartkapoen, MetX, House of Cultures and Social Cohesion in Sint-Jans-Molenbeek have worked hard for a year, in collaboration with Bozar, to put together a rich mix of projects. All trajectories were guided by Demos.

your key & 'Klarafestival takes care of you'
Art is for everyone. But the road to art is not as easy to travel for all – literally and figuratively. That’s why Klarafestival and its social partners remove the obstacles to art for diverse target groups. Each year a few hundred interested people enjoy a classical music concert thanks to ‘Your Key (Jouw Sleutel)’. And with the project 'Klarafestival takes care of you', we bring Klarafestival to the inner gardens of Brussels residential care centres.
BOX & Lounge
Klarafestival has also thought of passers-by: in the KlaraFestival BOX, you can discover young talent during a mini-concert from 21 February to 10 March 2022. The smallest concert hall in the world will be located in three different places in Brussels. Concerts are free, but you need to book your time slot here from 10 January.
During the festival, the BOX will be transformed into a real LOUNGE, where you can meet before and after a concert for an introduction or a talk with the artists.
