Music connects. Music heals. Music gives strength. But people in care homes rarely get the opportunity to attend concerts. That is why Klarafestival is bringing music into Brussels care homes. With Klarafestival in de zorg, we make classical music accessible for those who are unable to get to concert venues.
This year, we’re holding six concerts in six Brussels care homes between 2 and 12 May. The focus is on people with disabilities and mental well-being. The Young Belgian Strings will be performing a varied programme featuring work by Max Richter, Dirk Brossé, George Gershwin, Giacomo Puccini and others.
